Fall Cleanup Services

A comprehensive fall clean-up sets the stage for winter
Cutting back of perennials (Pruning off dead foliage)
Fall is a great time to trim trees and bushes. The plants are going into hibernation and won’t be doing much growing, so it is less stressful on them. The bugs are also not as abundant, so it is less likely that your plants will have disease and damage from them.
Blow leaves and debris from landscaping
We get rid of all leaves and organic matter debris that builds up when the weather turns cold.
One Last Mow
This service is completed after the last mowing of the season, and before November 1st.
Bag and haul away all organic matter
We like to do a thorough rake, vacuum and removal of fall’s glory after it’s hit the decks. We use state of the art equipment to suck up, haul away and recycle what Mother Nature leaves behind.
There are many additional services that can be done in the fall which include:
Dethatching
Bush / Shrub Trimming
Leaf Cleanup
Some people prefer to have their lawn cleaned up in the spring, however, doing it in the fall is actually better for your lawn. With that said, we live in Minnesota and sometimes winter arrives earlier than we are ready for, so you might not get everything cleaned up before the snow. That is one reason we encourage everybody to get on the schedule as early possible.

When you have everything cleaned up and taken care of before the snow falls, you give your lawn a great start for spring.

Fall cleanups get rid of leaves and organic matter that build up when the weather turns cold and leaves start falling. It is good to get the debris off the lawn because it is not ideal for it to sit there all winter covered by snow. The leaves start to rot and get moldy. It could also lead the the grass being killed if not taken care of early enough in the spring.

It is also a good idea to have an application of winter fertilizer put down just before it snows. This application sits and waits for the spring thaw. Once things start warming up, the fertilizer is there and provides your turf with the earliest nutrients possible. This gives your lawn a great start.
